A set of eight/ten masks. We have basic Basel masks used for teaching and character exploration.If you want to push your mask work further we have these deluxe masks. They are hand painted perfect as an introduction to mask work or to create characters. The measure of any mask is how an audience are willing to engage with it. The painting adds to the character and gives it more 'life' onstage. Good for performance work. The masks come with a booklet of activities covering everything from the use of the masks to ideas for schemes of work for year 7-13. The characters are archetypes and help students create larger than life characters. The masks have bulging eyes so they do not dig into the eyes of the person wearing the mask. They are based on basic emotions.
